Does anyone get bug bites after handling vinyl?

Whats the word, I'm a new cat to this board.. But i thought I'd start settin something off anyway..

Does anyone get bug bites on they're body after handling vinyl?
I just recently picked up some old vinyl to sample off of, and brought it to my room.. and now i've been itching a lot.. and getting small bumps..looks like it could be vinyl-mites or some shit.
Anyone know about this?

Never experienced that but all I can say go to a dermatologist and get that checked out.

You're probably allergic to dust. Though the album covers could have little creatures smaller than an ant eating them. They eat through books too leaving somewhat of a pin sized hole. Don't know their name.

I am allergic to mold and when I am digging and hit a patch of vinyl that has had mold accumulate on it I am done for. Sounds like you have hives which is an allergic reaction......

next time you go diggin, wear some gloves and my be a face mask if needed. I do this if i'm down in some bodies basement. good luck.

i drop a large dose of clartyn before digging.
