Hey whats up guys.

Well i want to buy a MPC 4000 (better than the 5000), but i really dont understand how the midi thing works....

This is how i plan to do it. I would have my roland SH-201 connect to the MIDI out A of the MPC, then the Virus TI connected to the MIDI out B of the MPC. I think my Axiom is gonna be connected to the MIDI in of the MPC, so i can use it as my controller. I have other things but those are the only keyboards I use really. Ok so next The audio signals. I have all my boards going into a MAckie VLZ mixer and then that mixer into my Audio interface.

AM I correct guys?

Select the output, A-D, channels 1-16. Use program change to change sound on that midi channel. It's a plus that Akai chose to bring back the 4 midi outs on the 4000. They are not really MPC's if they don't have the 4 midi outs and 8 analog outs like the MPC 60 & 3000.
