MPC 2000 Classic and ZIP 100MB PLUS Compatibility

Hi,

I'm about to pay an overpriced amount of about 40 bucks on eBay for a ZIP 100 MB Plus (the one that also has Parallel in addition to SCSI) to use with my MPC 2000. I know this is quite a lot but being in England I've been struggling to find something for any less.
My question is, does anyone know of any issues with the Plus model that I should be aware of? I know it offers the same selection of SCSI IDs and I haven't found anything about it having problems but still I'd like to be certain before I purchase.

I wouldn't recommend it. I have one, sometimes it's recognised by the sampler and sometimes it isn't.
Wait for a straight SCSI one and save yourself the hassle.

I used one for 7 years before it broke down.
Never had a problem with it (used it with a 2K)
You have to be sure that you get the auto detect cable. Also you have to turn the drives scsi termination on.
Also the first time you use it you have to turn it on and let it "start" for bout 20 secs. That way it will boot in its scsi state.
And NEVER turn of the drive while the mpc is on, you risk F'n up your mpc that way
