steppin up from zip to cf drive small question...

i just picked up my 2kxl some weeks ago and after learning it i wanna make the upgrade to cf drives instead of the zip that it came with. i found one online and although i know that theres a post going already i just had a real quick question which is: this reader http://www.psism.com/psiiic.htm says that a 44pin-to-40pin converter may be needed. since i have a zip drive already installed would i need to order this part still? i couldnt find any specs on the zip drive's cable hook up so if anyone has made that switch can they let me know? thanks

I can't answer your question directly, but maybe count the pins on the cable/drives already installed and take it from there.

yeah that popped in my head after i made the post, thanks for the . i figured id rock the zips while i learned the machine then step it up. ive got a few cf cards lying around still new in the case. thanks...
