i dont use chop shop but ive seen some on the forum say its slower because they made it compatible too the mpc5000 stereo choping

am I the only one to experience this? I know I can alway upgrade to jj. But at the moment I'm concerned because the machine should not operate this way. As soon as I'm finished trimming and I decide to chop, whether its auto or equal its about a 4 to 5 min wait. I don't usually use chop shop but the fact that its slow annoys me. Anyone else?

i feel you on that.

that's why i'm using Akai OS 1.23

it works good for me. chop shops works good and it's quick.

i think you can re-install OS 1.23, not to sure though.

i would def try to reinstall 1.23, you should be able to do that.

alot of people swear by jjos, Akai's OS 1.23 works good for me. let me know how you make out.
