So what was the total cost?

thanx man

man hard to say total cost because
A. i replaced some buttons that probably didnt need replacing(wanted new)
B. only used quarter of the cans of silver, gold and black paint
C. replaced all the hardware

actually i guess thats about all i wasted..

i'd say all in all i ended up spending around $400.00

but i didnt do just cosmetic things to it,,,i also replaced 5 tacts, replaced the slider, and 4 lights,,

so not only does it look new it also works like it was straight out of the box

the only issue with it,is that the screen has a permanent burn spot in the middle,,so as soon as mpcstuff starts re-making them,,or i find another site or place to grab one,i'll be all over it,then "brand new"

ive tooken the whole thing apart and fixed every problem with it,theres not a spec of dust inside of it and heres what the bottom looks like now

just a little something to throw the red off.....looks super clean now!!

damn. good job, looks clean... but to each their own. you obviously posted this up for some feedback... so here's some from me.

i'm the type that likes my equipment bone-boring-ass-stock in appearance. i'm looking at your data wheel and cursor keys like i'd hate to be scrolling through menus and shit with them. don't they feel skanky? they look like they would. it looks like the people that paint the interior panels of their cars like red or blue or whatever to me.

i'd of spent that money and time buying/digging for records instead of painting my mpc pink. wow. don't catch any feelings, again it looks like you did great work... but that's just me.

like you say "to each his own" its actually red,the camera is what makes it look pink,,its actually dark red,lol...and for the buttons, they have so much clear on them they feel real nice,,not sticky but grippy,i would never catch feelings,,i could care less what people think of my 5hit,i posted it because i noticed a lot of people were wondering how to get the letters back on after you paint it,so it was just my 2 cents pretty much,,but thanx for posting man!!
