Track Mute function

When playing your loops, the track mute function is awesome for making some breaks. But the mute on/off isn't able to record that parameter?

So let's say, I've got my loop.. Wanna make some breaks on it (in a next seq) I can't record those with the track mute?

guys?

I believe you would have to do new sequences with the desired tracks muted to do that.
I think you cant record this types of events on the mpc/

Thats what song mode is for.

Make duplicates of the original sequence, then season to taste.

On your second sequence, put it on the track you wish to edit...-----> Overdub record------>hold erase----> then hit the pad where you want it removed from the sequence. Now your first sequence can play into the second sequence for a breakdown, then go from there.
