Can anybody recommend some GREAT quality drums I can download?

Im not looking for "good".. Already have those... Ive been making beats for a couple of years, and have some pretty big names on my resume. BUT never been 100% happy with the sound quality on my beats, especially the drums. 1 major reason was that I was using logic for a long time, and I couldnt really make it sound the way I wanted. Since switching over to the MPC Im much closer to what I want it to sound like. I want a couple of kits I can just load up in the MP and the sh** is BANGIN without tweekin for hours. Dont get me wrong... Ive already have tons of sounds that I made by layering etc.. But Im looking for something new that sound official and hits hard that can give me some instant inspiration...

Ok, I know theres a lot of people with their own little websites out there trying to sell beats and drum sounds.. I'll consider buying that but a need to hear what they sound like before spending my money..

I know crateingz.com sell sounds aswell as this website...

1. Any recomendations of what website have the most professional sounding kits?

2. Whats the best kit for Kicks on cratekings?

Appreciate it...

i saw your post about clipping drums and thought it was odd that you mention your experience and your resume but had such a beginner type question. i passed on making a comment about it. but now here you are in another thread saying the same thing again with yet another beginner question.

shouldn't you know stuff like this if you are in the industry? you work with big names but you're looking for 25 dollar sample packs?

whole lot of sense that makes.

Why not try to be CREATIVE and create your own drums?

Use the tools within your MPC, they are there for a reason.

Too many people looking for some 'off the shelf' drums. Damn...

I must confess I was a victim of laziness and use to look for drum kits to download. But realized shit wasnt really creative at all and just started to do my own drum kits from vinyl and even used some external devices (Proteus XR-20, Mo'Phatt and etc...) and tweaked them with filters and by adding two different kicks together. just be creative and make your own. It gives you that accomplishment feel once you got some drums that were created by you. shit I even done kicks by sampling some shit from a movie and then just add FX and filters to manipulate the sound to your liking.

thats my .02

100,
Sosa

I like to use one shots. But with 25$ you won't get anywhere. I don't like the cratekings samples. I have bought that many samples over the years, I don't even know where the drums come from that I used the most.

However, Emusician.com reviewed some accoustic drumsets here: http://emusician.com/libraries/emusic_ultimate_acoustic_drum/
Maybe u'll find that usefull!

This is all BullShi_T Advice....
Who cares where u get the samples from... as long as it sounds good...
Half of the industry are making millions off of drum kits that have been used over and over again...
F_ck the creative sh_t...
Its all about the dolla Now...
No one cares if it took u years to make your own samples from vinyles..

So if you want to buy them,, then do it,
If you want some direction where to get them then PM Me !

yo.. ive bought samples from a few sites. the best id have to say are this site mpc-samples, samplecraze got some good ones too, and also modernbeats arent too bad. but really its what you do with them that counts, you can turn a 'not so good sample' into a better sounding sample than a 'good sounding sample' feel me?
