Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I was wondering if I could use the 16 levels function to change the note but keep it the same length? This is probly a nub question, but i just picked this thing up a few days ago. :mrgreen:

Ahh so i cant get it to auto stretch my samples whilst using the 16 levels?

you should be able to,,,u have to make the sample how you want it with time stretch and then you have to assign it and then turn on the 16levels and all should be smooth!!

oh wait no i read that wrong...your 16levels cant be used as timestretching..

but you know what might be possible...timestretch your sample,then assign it,then turn on the 16levels,then turn on note viriation,set as tuning,then hit the pads and adjust the slider at the same time,,,,i know it sounds like a lot but imagine the outcome,,u could be on to something..or hell i could be on to something..lol
