The CTI Never Sleeps - Noobs take note!!

Firstly, I’m not posting this as a sample source, although if you want to sample MP3s that’s entirely up to you, but rather as an educational resource. I’m posting it here as it will appeal to crate diggers more than anyone else but if mods want to move it to ‘off topic’ that’s fine.

Some of you might know of this blog already but I thought I’d share it anyway as it is such a fantastic resource, especially for noobs, and those of us who don’t have the luxury of numerous record shops and dollar bins.

The guy has an amazing collection of CTI/Kudu releases, which he is posting on his blog (usually a few albums a week) as MP3s mostly ripped at 320kbs from CD and vinyl.

The blog started in August so there are already hundreds (literally) of albums there to download.
Please show some respect and leave comments to say ‘thanks’ if you download something. He makes nothing from this so it’s the least you can do. He has stated in the past that if too many people are leeching from the site and not leaving comments he might stop the blog and that’s not something that anyone wants to happen.

Personally I haven’t come across many CTI/Kudu records on my digs, so this has been a godsend to me, as I would not have had the chance to listen to 99% of these albums otherwise.

Great site...honestly, I wouldn't have searched for and bought a lot of records if I hadn't heard them first as a downloaded MP3.

But anyway, I can't find any links to MP3 downloads?

If you click on the title of the album you want, the link is in the comments section (you have to copy and paste, it's not a clickable link).

Some of the albums are hosted by another site (My Jazz World) and those do have clickable links (they all say My Jazz World (in the album description) rather than the name of the album.

I've pretty much been through the whole site and only found three links that didn't work (although I've not bothered with albums I already have on vinyl). He usually reposts broken links if you ask in the comments section.

milk crate breaks is also worth a visit - put cti/kudu in search window on top left

these site are very dope as u often find records that you may neva encounter on your local diggin trip, there was another site that was a french site that had a bunch of breaks but unfortunately it did not feature the whole song

The links are sometimes hidden in the Comment Section or behind the first letter of the Artist's Name...

some deep crates online some real interesting stuff that i aint neva seen and would likely be beyond my budget had i encountered this in a store.

good looks on the links its always nice to be exposed to some deeper sounds.
