How many sample can a keygroup contain? Is it just 4 samples and each is pitched across a range?

Or do you get 4 layers of multi-samples where each multi-sample can have say 64 samples of each pitch?

We simply don't have a clue and will have to wait for Akai to release v2 to see what they offer.
Just no way to know what they may change before we get it.

What exactly is a keygroup? The answer to that question may possibly answer your other questions.

You don't have to make fun of him. (I didn't make fun of you when you tried to sell bootleg samples ) It is obvious he doesn't know what a keygroup is so help him out if you feel inclined to do so.

Was just asking because there are no details yet. Was not sure if it was different(inferior) on the 5k.

Inferior to what? If you plan on measuring the 5Ks keygroup sampler with another sampler (MPC 4000?) based upon the questions above, you should provide more info.

MPC 4000:
1. How many sample can a keygroup contain?
2. Is it just 4 samples and each is pitched across a range?
3. Do you get 4 layers of multi-samples where each multi-sample can have say 64 samples of each pitch?

No Im not responding because you are either trying to get a great service for a next to nothing price or you are playing games. Either one I have no time for.
BOOTLEGGED?? Not Really there is a nig difference between having a real JD-800 and the Multi-samples I have of it.

What I do know is that you were trying to sell bootlegs..but that isn't the point  b-righteous has questions about keygroups in OS2.0. I already pointed him in the right direction.
