my condolences ! HOWEVER...if we give u our samples and programs, ur name will be a complete lie. u will then have to change ur name to "Not So Self Made Cuz I Copped Samples From Other People" therefore i personally dont feel as though i can share my samples, due to the fact that they are "Self made"...u feel me ? Best Of Luck .

THIS IS LIKE SAYING "HIP HOP PRODUCER AIN'T DOING SHIT CAUSE THEY ARE NOT PLAYING THE MELODY, THEY SAMPLE IT" AND THIS IS WHY I CANT AGREE WITH YOU.

but see , i didnt say that at all. fact of the matter is, if u want to use samples for music production, thats great , i am 85% sample based myself, Buuuuuut .....if i sample something, its cuz i came across it. its not like i got other producers diggin for me then givin me all the hot shit they find. u want free drums, they are out there, u want free synths, they are out there, but to ask for someones samples, thats dangerous water to be doggy paddling in. NOW ON THE OTHER HAND, if u were to ask for some kits, that maybe ppl got from Zshare or something like that, thats a little different. I Know that alot of ppl find there own samples, eq them, compress them, stack them....etc. That would be wrong to just ask for them. sure you'll find some extremely generous folks on here, but what does that really do for you. Think of this as a fresh start, clean slate, and learning experience. Put in that work and tell ur bro to keep his grubby mitts off the merchandise

once again ....BEST OF LUCK sir.

I WAS TALKING ABOUT KITS THEY FOUND ONLINE, NOT THE KITS THEY MADE FROM SRCRATCH.

i know cats were being sarcastic. but i was serious. and the more junk you save onto that blank hdd the less you will be able to recover. the data is still all there it is just invisible. and when you save new stuff over the so-called blank area it actually writes over the old stuff

never mind guys, decided to start all over again
and how can you recover the data? a program on the pc or something like that?
if so than whats the name of the program? i'll try to recover things myself.

thanks.

yea its a recovery program. and i cant give you the name because what i have is a government app. but i can tell you to search data recovery tool. you will most likely find something to suite your needs. but i can tell you that the more impatient you are with your disk. and the more you write to it now the less you will get back in the end. if you left it alone after the wipe you could have recovered everything you lost. good luck with it.

Sad to hear this,
brothers can **** up your stuff real bad man. While I was on holiday, my brother left two of my most treasured vinyls on the turntables in front of the window. Next day they where turned into a nice art piece by the warmth of the sun.

Like LunaticBastard said, if you wanna see something back, it's most important not to write any data to the hard drive. I think the best u can do is get the HD out of the MPC and take it to someone who can try to recover as much as possible.

And don't forget the most important lesson for all of us to be learnt out of this: TAKE BACKUPS once in a while. I'm not blaming you but having all u'r stuff on just one hard drive is kinda asking for it. Just copy your sample database to your computer once a moth, this way you'll never lose it all.
