Note repeat

Why isn't it assignable to a pad?
Please tell me i missed that, it would be sweet..
i know there's alot more interesting and powerful stuff i doubt anyone else thinks it would be as cool as i do, it can't be that hard to implement though..

really????????? hold it down and you can use it with any pad. thought that was just how it worked

i mean so that you don't have to hold the button down and you can use both hands to play with some pads as regular and some repeating... I know you can do shift and note repeat to lock it on and play other pads as one shots but they only play in time to the quantize setting of the note repeat, see what i mean?
Maybe i'll just turn tap tempo off and move my hands quicker like everyone else.

yeah u goon, hold shift when u hit tap, it 'locks' on.

use a footswitch....
assign it to note repeat , latch
then just press it once and ...both hands are free !!!!

thats ok, but shift+note repeat actually locks it on, so still free hands etc.

I'm bein supa lazy here, can you then assign certain pads to work with note repeat and ones that dont? Will go think about it and see if there's a potential way to do it. I'm thinking like assigning an fx to a pad etc, in paramtr sceen or something...

That's what i want

^^^ There's no way to do that exactly.

But a work around would be:

Resample the pad you want to have repeat, with note repeat on (at the tempo you want to use), then set the loop point from the start of the sample to the start of the next repeated one. Set note on and it'll loop when you play, effectively providing note repeat. So then you could have repeated samples and one-shots in the same program without having to use note repeat.

You dont have your hands free then, though...

Note repeat sucks anyway imo. Just play freely
