problems with my alesis fusion...

anyway, i noticed on sunday that my alesis 88key fusion kept reseting on its own. then all of a sudden it powered off and i cannot seem to power it up.
i was hoping someone could make a suggestion or two before i bring this thing to armen or rogue for repairs.

anyone have any thought?

o, and since the winter strted i have kept the alesis by the windo--sometimes the window would be open, sometimes it would be closed. i always kept a towel covering the fusion but it always seemed a little cold. could tht be my problem?

Yeah, I think the open window may have played a part in it's failure. I recommend going over to the Fusion forums and see what they say. I've only taken my Fusion apart once to install the memory. Others may know a fix for your problem but I think you may need to send it in for repairs. If it's still under warranty I don't recommend taking it apart, just send it in for repairs. Sorry to hear about your Fusion. Hope you have it working soon.

I figured the cold air woldnt be a big deal--it was overheating I should worry about. but I called sweetwater today and alesis has a 1 yea warrenty that expired on feb 8. hopefully sweetwater will sweet talk alesis and get them to extend my warranty a couple weeks.
that fusion forum is a fcukin ghost town.

Have you looked at both of the Fusion forums? Hollow Suns forum is usually busier than the fusioneer forum. Good luck with your fusion.
