don't count me in
i bought a 5k in order to get rid of those computer screens and mouse buttons
i wanted some "flow" going on, that's exactly what the 5k promises, and it hasn't disappointed me yet (a couple of OS-related issues aside, which everyone should report as soon as possible, as the os2 is coming soon -feb09, a promise to be kept  ...)

Acousticventure,

I do not understand why you don't want this step forward once there is only advantages with this software.

Chickeneps,

Please, go ahead on that. Many of us are ready to pay for that.

me too. but having computer software to make mpc programs only improves the workflow as it's a hell of a lot faster than creating them in the mpc.

I agree with you that an editing program could eventually speed up the workflow.
I just do not want you to push it into AKAI's shoes, as they should concentrate exclusively upon the 5K OS-development and bug fix...
If you find a third party to do the job for you and you are willing to pay for it, no problem for me, but don't count on me, because...(i"ve already said it  )

Please make it happen Chickeneps! I hope it will be able to edit multisamples programs too. If it can do that I'll buy it twice.... :D

Well, I guess there it is then. =)

Earliest we can get to it is next month, I'll post in here as we go. If I'm not heard of, please email me at [email protected] to bug-remind-nag us. We're serious about it, though.

This would be awesome!

What I would really like is something on the level of Battery...where I can tweak and layer my sounds. And then can save them to the MPC 5000 format.

hey ,count me as far as what ive heard,I m downloading sample into imac harddrive. Then dragging to iTunes to here them. Then eventually to mpc HD or cf. it would be great to chop an edit layer before hand.

are we talking midi too?

could you start some kind of feature list on whats possibly a factor, so far?

no.

i knew bluebox, mpcmaid and beatbutcher. all programs lacks the newer features of akaios 2.0. the old pgm file description does not contain the new stuff. so all after the description programmed software lacks this features.

a newer pgm file description is made by me. the new features are clearly outlined.

actually i write a small application for applying multisamples to the program. but it is not ready, yet.
