How to use Mute Group on the mpc 2500

I chopped up a sample but when I hit pads the samples overlap each other, I want to be able to hit a pad and hit another an the 1st pad will stop playin..instead on them playing together

in this video he explains it but hes using the mpc 500 and the 2500 is different.

How do I do this on the mpc 2500?

You don't want to use a mute group for this, you will want to use the "mute target" under programs in "param"

First select your sample in "Program" mode
Second choose "Param"
Third select your notes that you want to target and mute the sample

or simply just after you hit params switch your program all together from poly to mono. Top right hand in play options
