The 2500 with any JJ OS > 5000

5000 is wack. Straight up...

^^^^ win!

i have both the 2500 and the 1k and i wouldnt trade any in for the 5k. if JJ developed for the 5k then maybe but highly unlikely i love both machines and since i had a ton of synths dont need a 5k

1. The price
2. Chop Shop 2.0 is not as good as the JJ chopping system
3. The synth in it is okay
4. My opinion: Im not a fan of the blue screen and dont like how stuff is layed out on the screen
5. OS is still not stable
6. The work flow is easier on a 2500 with any JJOS

Why blow that much dough on gear that doesnt work to its potential and probably wont be till a few years from now. The 2500 & the 1000 with any of the JJOS's works flawless. These guys paired up with the JJOS are easily some of the best samplers out.

The onboard VA synth is what ruins it for me. That and the fugly plastic parts of the case.

true that.. i just thought it would be halfway decent and considering the price you pay for it, not a 'wack' machine. ive never intended on getting one though... 2500 all the way for me, when i get the moula that is

definitely not. i don't hate the 5000 or anything, it's just i'm real happy with the jjos2 and the 2500.

there's nothing i can't do on it and i'm the type that stays with a configuration for ages once i've found the right pieces to the puzzle.
