When i download .snd files, how do i load them into the mpc?

ive done it before successfully, but past few days i've trying and after I burn the cd and put it into the scsi drive of the mpc the name of the cd comes up but i cant access the sounds or folders..and i've been wasting alot of new blank cd's trying..i just bought $60.00 worth of sounds and cant even use them its frustrating...now i download the sounds they on my desktop as zip folders..ok, i did just realize one thing , wasnt extracting the files first (it does ask if u want to extract all files), but i just open it copy the .snd files to the cd burner and tell it to copy..also it asks if i want to make an audio or a data CD..I beleive Im supposed to choose data, right? I think thats how I did it before.. can anyone help?

MPC Editor program and YES I burn DATA when I make my CD's.

When i get one of those sample disk i use the media player(windows or winnamp)Listen to the sounds and pick out the ones i like,then go from the computer straight to the mpc to record.Assign to pads.After you've done that save as sounds to floppy or zip.(I also keep a production notebook.)Go in there write down the sounds i have on whatever disk and then label the disk and also jot down the name of the disk in the notebook for whatever sounds are on there.(Quicker reference.)This way i only have the sounds i want on disk and don't use up too much space on those i don't really like or won't use.And this also helps me save those cds for recording completed works with vocals or just beats.Notebook:-6 rows-Name,Attack,Decay,Filter,Tuning,and BPM.It seems like alot but it pays off in the long run.Give it a shot and see...Peace.
