making specific instrument programs

hey fellas,
i'm out of work for at least a week due to work injury.I'll obviously have time to do this so does anybody know how I would go about making programs.I plan on doing this:

1)going through my vinyl and just jackin' snares and put them all in there own program called...umm...SNARES

2)the same for kicks...etc,etc.

it's probably really simple but for some reason I just can't figure out how to do it ,i really ,really don't want to load all my snare manually when there must be a way to do it how I want .Can ANYBODY please help?!

Sample all the snares you want, create a pgm, then assign then to a pad. after that saves pgm with samples.

good lookin' AMG,see I knew it was something simple,I just let my boy use my manual earlier this morning.He wants to study the manual before he cops his own 1k.Thanks again dog!
