Problem on pad backing plate.

On the backside of the pad backing plate there is a piece where one of the screws goes in and it looks like the point where it was welded broke (no longer welde). I put a wooden stick to show in the pic below. What should I do? I cant afford to have it serviced right now, any suggestions?

The same shit happened to me the other week. I just taped up a small piece of paper thick enough to keep the board from rattling.

You could try some metal epoxy glue or take it to a shop and have it welded back in place.
