I don't see a computer in that setup...... I used micronizer on the mac myself.
I don't use a computer in the studio, but I have both mac and pc. And I would be interested in downloading patches for the micron, or creating them with a computer, but I didn't know there were software for hat. I will look up the micronizer thing. Thanks.

Whats up freeze. I think i remember you from rs7000.org back in the day. Your detailed post on the rs7k vs mpc1k is what 1st got me interested in looking at the mpc. What ever happened to your rs7k? I see your still rockin that rm1x.

I have the s20 since 1998, I don't sample with it anymore, actually a few of the control buttons are even dead. But I have 10 years worth of diskettes with samples that I just load in the unit and control it with the MPC. It still has a good sound.

How u like the c414? Is it the XLII? I rent it last week and to my ears the XLII is a little too bright. There's is a boost in the frequency response between 5 and 15khz. I'll rent a audio technica 4050 this week and choose between those two.
I also tried a u87 and a violet with c12 head, but just for fun because there are not in the price range that I want to pay.
