I dug-out my old 2k last night to show someone who's only ever used a PC to make music just how simple, portable and (above all) reliable an MPC is to use ...and, of course, the bloody thing didn't work!
Anyway, it keeps giving me a SCSI CONFLICT ID#6 error message. I've checked all the terminals on each end of the SCSI cable and both of the devices (an Iomega Zipdrive and the 2k) and everything looks perfectly OK. No amount or combination of turning each device off and on or plugging-in/unplugging has helped in the slightest. It happily loads data off the built-in 3.5" drive and the Zipdrive (and disks) work with other devices ...so I'm at a bit of a loss.
HELP!
