Ever heard Miles Davis play the Trumpet or Thelonius Monk on the keys? What about Idris Muhammed on drums? **** is not restricted to 16th or even 32nd notes! Your myspace says you dig for records, so I hope you would know these basic names, as well as actually listening to some of them once in a while. Also don't come at me with that REAL MUSICIAN **** I've played piano since I was 6. So what. After that much time with the instrument, anything I can't play just lets me know I need to practice more. If you can only play on beat you need to practice more. Turn quantize off. Use swing. I think I already said that a few pages back.</thread>
LOL **** you I know who those people are, and don't talk down to me like I don't know music. And I know about backbeat grooves and breakbeats, and about freeform jazz, etc. I know its not restricted to 32nd notes, etc, etc. I am not a jazz drummer and never have been. I have always been a pocket drummer and rock n roll drummer so most of my training has been about staying on beat.
Think I care about your corny ass piano playing anyways. Not to mention you gave me shit first. So eat a bag of dicks.
Not to mention I hit cancel on that post because I thought it sounded to prideful and it posted anyways.
