Fast Downsouth style fills!!!

How exactly do you create fast down south style drum fills on the
MPC 2000xl without actually just playing them on the pads. I've tried everything and searched many forum topics and watched many tutorials and cant find out exactly how to do this. Please Help!!!!

Say your working at 74bpm (just example)

turn the tempo down by half then program your fill in (faster than the new set tempo) once you're down turn your tempo back to 74 and there ya go


this works if you can't play fast

Here's HOw i do it.

1. Boom , splashhh, BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR splash!

2. bounce to MP3

This is the most simple way to make a "downsouth" fill if you have access to an MPC. I am not gonna watch it and type exactly where it is but just watch the video and you shall see. I believe he uses the "16 level" function? There isn't a fill "standard", just make sure it's fyre .
