well it's a 20 years old machine, a little bit of hiss and hum it's pretty normal....
however i put a peace of cork under the inverter and help a lot

try to turn on the machine (pay a lot ot attention) and move the inverter when it's on... i realize it was that in this way, so i put a peace of cork (the cork u can put under the sit or table to understand) and that hiss goes away
