Yeah. That as been stated before.
The problem is that whatever you layer (equal or not) doesn't always sounds the same because of the micro delay in the layers, this in the case of equal samples causes phasing, in the case different samples cause the sound to change a bit in a few pad hits as the delay is not regular... But if you're peculiar enough about this kind of details then you should have no problem finding a workaround, its annoying nevertheless
