what king of pause? something like a very small pause, or a entire bar pause?

are the sequences set to the same tempo?
does this pause happen in song mode as well??

Your first sequence has 1 loop sample that runs 4 bars doesn't it?
Triggered at 01.01.01?

Your loop finishes before the next sequence begins, and you get silence
THEN, the next sequence begins, there is your pause. Fix it.

I'm guessing from what you said.
You didn't detail your situation enough for us to really help you at all.

How r your sequences made up, what type of samples?
Long story short, we can't guess your problem.

sorry difficult to explain, basically just drum patterns,i will make a 2 bar drum pattern, then copy it to another sequence, then go in song mode, and convert them together

A little better yeah, lol.

2 bar drum pattern copied makes 2 separate 2 bar drum patterns.
Go into song mode and join them, I don't see how it doesn't join together?

I thought maybe you were using a 2 bar loop.

Your drum patterns should join right together and fit fine. It has to be your programming.
Maybe timing correct is not what you need it to be. People will tell you turn it off
but that takes ALOT of practice to get that right and down straight, it will drive you crazy if your
just starting off.

Change TC to 1/16 and then make a 2 bar again. Start all over with that. leave it on 1/16 so you can get a feel for that.

sounds like your first squence is only 2 bars and the copyied is set to 3 bars,
another thing use the params to truncate your sample and pitch it up so it will catch up.
another thing when you convert them in sode mode make sure the window setting is correct,it gives you a few options i can't remember them cause i'm not next to mpc but try all three and see which oneis the right one.

if all fail then go back and chop the sample more in loop mode till it sounds right

Hey y'all, this isn't Banners82 issue, but the subject line ("Joining sequences problems") is true for me.

I'm new to the MPC2000XL, and it seems that every time I string sequences together in song mode, the selected program gets wiped out after the first sequence plays.

So I'm playing in song mode hearing silence after the first sequence finishes. Am I doing something wrong, or maybe is my MPC buggy (it's been heavily used by it's previous owner)?

Any ideas? Lemme know if you need more details to answer this one.
