the pic is a bit deceptive. Its not sooooo far away (90 cm from turntable platter to the MPC number block buttons. Easy for someone with a wingspan like me (185cm)) but I seldom sample directly from the vinyl. I record everything on PC first to be able to eq it more precisely and put a rumble filter on it and sometimes some other things like a bit of the SIR reverb etc.
peace

cratekings.com wrote:I can't help you out with that, but try mpc-forums.com they might be able to help. Just make sure you mention right away that you read the manual (even if you didn't) otherwise they get pissy.
wudsiba wrote:BG... You brought up something I've always wondered about. If you licence out beats, how do you then sell beats exclusively? What I mean is, once one person has simply bought the rights to use a beat doesn't that make it unexclusive? Do you have beats to buy and beats to "rent" seperate? How does it work? Just currious, as I imagine people would be pretty pissed to hear their exclusive track on someone's myspace page. Especially when they find out they bought it "legally".
