Man if you had pets of your own, you would realize how ignorant those comments are to us pet owners

to a non michael vick type pet owner, your cat or dog is like one of ya kids, part of your family

the pic is a bit deceptive. Its not sooooo far away (90 cm from turntable platter to the MPC number block buttons. Easy for someone with a wingspan like me (185cm) :) ) but I seldom sample directly from the vinyl. I record everything on PC first to be able to eq it more precisely and put a rumble filter on it and sometimes some other things like a bit of the SIR reverb etc.

peace

lol. Nice set-up fam!

Post my home studio later.

Hate it or Love it, This is my mobile set-up for 2010 and it rokz. Been using Pocket PC's since the Ipaq.

Yeah I geeked out, but this is what I do.

I can do everything I need to with it on the GO anywhere.

S5 - 5-6 Hours Battery Life on one charge.
APPS include (JJ Sequencer (load up my mpc 500/2500 projects and play/edit sequences), Reason (to sample refill sounds via audio cable), Recycle, Soundforge 9, MPC MAID, MPC Editor, Garmin GPS..lol) Chopping samples with this device (touchscreen and Jog dial is FUN and easy) NO mouse needed!

MPC 500 - 6-8 Hours Battery Life

Key Word - Battery Life

BG... You brought up something I've always wondered about. If you licence out beats, how do you then sell beats exclusively? What I mean is, once one person has simply bought the rights to use a beat doesn't that make it unexclusive? Do you have beats to buy and beats to "rent" seperate? How does it work? Just currious, as I imagine people would be pretty pissed to hear their exclusive track on someone's myspace page. Especially when they find out they bought it "legally".

I would never let my animals climb on my gear. But I'm sure it would do no harm, cause they weigh about 10 lbs. But like someone else said, animals are like your kids, they're usually babies when you get them, and to them you're their parent. Those photos might have been just cutsy shots to show off the animal too. so stop hatin...and what's with everyone rockin chucks again? haha

I've never got an answer to that question either, or atleast not an answer that is clear and concise.

some say, non excxlusive mp3 sales end of the track if purchased exclusive..

(but yeah, what about those already bought it)

some say it is exclusive use of the tracked out pro tools session files and the beat maker stops selling the mp3's.

some claim to hand over resale rights of the beat to the buyer who can then do what they wish, including keep selling it as a non exclusive mp3 if they wish.

I have just found it to have different meanings to different buyers/sellers.

non exclusive is easy though it's very similiar to a mechanical license for songs yet in beat sales online it has no statutory royalty rate the way the compulsory mechanical license does.
