There are at least two threads that identify this problem.
There is a flaw in the design of Maschine's hardware. If this is not corrected, I guarantee you will see more. I just report what I find and not make things up (I do own the product).
Also, I didn't say the problem was pressing two buttons (as you point out the same is true with record + play on an MPC). I was talking about actually having to continuously hold the buttons down. Taking your finger off the button, and replacement recording stops. This is just one example of numerous functions where you have to press and hold a button. I only point this out to paint a picture of the workflow. You have to actually use Maschine and an MPC side by side to do a comparison to understand.
