yeah you can
1) it's bad ass
2) it worked back then and it still works now
3) to make music styles of a certain era cant be done better than with using the real deal
you know...
swing musicians would say the same thing to a bebop musican...
same as gospel group to a soul group...
same as soul group to a rnb group...
same as rnb group to a disc group...
same as disc group to a rap/hip hop group...
a song consist of a groove, melody and harmony it does not matter what style one is creating...
Not everyone needs to throw their computers away every 2 or 3 years. Some serious pros are still using atari computers and those are 25 years old and still run fine. The fact that someone has you replacing your computers every 2 or 3 years is laughable. You do realize that you dont need the very latest processor to run the latest DAWs... music production is not professional competitive gaming..
try loading Wave plugins into an atari computer...
next point...
there is a thread on this forum about setups and pictures of setups...
i do not see one atari machine and i think that thread is about 1000 pages long (get the picture)...
look at the specs for spectrasonic products to...
how about east/west?
again, try running these softwares on an atari machine...
while yes, the world has become very disposable in almost every sector of the market... software does not fit in there.
just curious...
if soft does not not fit why cant you load cubase 1.0 on window xp machine
