those 'simple waveforms' are just normal wav files.
a waveform is a constant loop
can be a sine, square, triangle, etc.. (oscilators produce them, first on analog synths, started in the 70-ies I guess, VCO: Voltage Controlled Oscilator)
those waveforms, we sample them from those synths (or virtual analog, soft or hardware), and loop them in a wave editor.
save them as wav (with those looppoints) and drag them to the 4k.
