Hello, I think this is really my first question and its about feedback!
I think feedback is the worst subject to search for
so after looking through 26 pages of search results i gave up and decided to post. please forgive me already a thread i cant find.
I want to know how much, say a MPC1000 that i have, can take? I know I can monitor the signal in the record window and try to trim the input on mpc and from desk,
BUT......
I do feedback alot with effect racks, and I know it is what i want to do with the mpc but would like a ball park idea how much they take before i burn it out lol. Any horror stories out there about melting mpcs?
I can clarify that i mean audio signal into desk out through send returns back into mpc with the throughput on and back out to the desk. a audio feedback loop. just to you know fatten it up even more and push the boundries so to speak
Anyone??
I know this is a old technique used by hip hop producers of yore on older mpcs. I will give it a go and let you know how i go.
