Just wondered your thoughts on buying used mpc's because i'm thinking of upgrading
Its probably just my bad luck but i've bought 2 used mpc's now and both caused me trouble!
First I bought a 2000 as my first mpc, when it arrived the pads were pretty abused but being new to mpc's i just got on with it and worked around the broken ones.
I cut my losses and sold this as spares after about 6 months and bought a used 1000, which i didn't want to get stitched up on again so i went to check it out before i bought it and it worked perfect.
After about 3 months the pads started playing up and gradually got worse till now a year later only 3 are touch sensitive and 2 pretty much don't work at all.
I'm fed up of having to work around pads so think its time to change.
I'm looking to buy either a 2500 or 5000 but both are quite expensive new and i can't now sell my 1000 to make up some of the cash, so not sure whether to go all out and buy new with a warranty or take a gamble at another used one..
What would you?
