Have a mac computer would love a program to edit my sounds and help out with my mpc 2000xl any suggestions?

I like Sound Studio 3 much better than Audacity. Audacity's GUI (Mac version, I don't know about other versions) is confusing, although both are equally powerful apps.
Isn't MPC Pad 187 only for MPC-1000? wisdom_listens is looking for OS X apps that works with MPC2000XL.
