ASAP! You might be ok. Heat makes the situation worse, though. 1k emits heat! Good luck!

Played a couple and they seem okay :D

I warped one of my favourite records by forgetting it was on the backseat of my car on a hot day :oops: it was the original soundtrack to the film 'Babylon' (1980), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0nhcK_bylU
This reminded me that I still have the record so are going to do a search on here and see if theres a way to unwarp it.

At your own risk, of course, get 2 heavy, thermal capable sheets of glass and stick the disc in between them. Set your oven to a lowish temperature (all ovens differ - try on a sacrificial disk first). Leave for a while (again, experiment) and let it cool down in the oven. I've recovered dozens of discs this way. Good luck!

just place the record in a tightly packed crate. leave for a week or two. you don't need to stick records in the oven or apply any heat to them.
