Is there any software more that I can use with the mpc1000? (not recording software).
Thanks!
Sorry, but how are you gonna do that without recording software? The standalone version doesn't have an option to set up the sync. I'm assuming you mean proper MIDI sync with MIDI clock or MTC. A DAW host program with Battery as VST, would let you sync the 2, with either the DAW or the MPC as the master.
Let us know more about your setup, MIDI cables etc. What you want to do is pretty easy to setup.
If you haven't already set up Battery's pads to match the MPC pads here's a Battery blank kit file.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=84M0CNPDIt will work perfectly if your MPC is set up with pad A1 as MIDI note #36. This is a blank Battery kit with the 64 cells broken down to 4 colored rows which will respond to the bank switches on your MPC. It will do you no good with the preset kits (they vary wildly in cell arrangement), but for your own samples and custom use of the individual Battery cells into kits it's very handy.
