out of curiosity I did some main out re-sampling to see if the mpc would sample a 1 bar loop and create samples of the same length every time.
I just created a simple 1 bar 4/4 loop, 4 notes, 1 note every beat, a rim shot. So during play back with the metronome set to 1/4 it would match the rim shot.
2) created an audio track. set loop to 1-1, this way the mpc would sample exactly one bar and stop. Set MAIN OUT as input source.
3) turned metronome off (both in play and in rec)
hit record a few times, got audio samples of the beat, but no sample had the same length, they all differed, some more than others.
