The shoulda put the dang K-nobs of the right hand side, and the pads on the left side, with the screen on centered between the pads and the numeric keys and the scrolly wheely thang<<<whoops said that word again
As far as color is concerned, I have a white Macbook, and it shows filth like no other, so Im hoping that early 2013, theyll drop an all black LE version...

Too many people in the forum with too many and differing ideas to come to a consensus. And just because someone has an idea doesn't mean it is easy or should be implemented.
For example.....strugglebuggiemusic wants the knobs on the right-hand side. But most MPCs have sliders/knobs on the left-hand side...which is exactly where I would want them. I like the LCD and the pads being in the center...looks cleaner and feel natural to me instead of being off centered.
And besides...Akai did take in alot of feedback from this forum. Read the feature request threads. You will see many suggestions have found their way into the Ren. Didn't you read all the negative feedback regarding not having graphic waveform editing on the LCD of the Ren?
Ya Mon, when I start to really analyze it, its prob-ly better for the pads to be in the middle, that way you can play the pads with yer "rite" hand, and twiddle to yer hearts content with yer "leff"...
Its just like one of those situations when all your friends tell you about this new fine @$$ chick that just moved into town, and all you got to look at is a picture...but when you finally get up close and personal, thats when ya decide if ya wanna push up to her and kick some game...
I know that all these ?'s will fade away when we ALL get a chance to push them buttons in person...
