I was doing research on the MPC 4000 for about 9 months. I read all these posts about how hard it was and complicated. Then I got a Akai Z4. Once I read the manual i realized it is really efficient. Then I got a great deal on the MPC4000..once I read the manual I realized that all the reading I had done and you tube video watching made me understand more than I realized.
Truth is the MPC4000 is not not explained well. It is very easy to understand and not complicated at all. The makers should have explained Multi's, Parts , and Programs better and then explained the sequencer in relation to tracks.
The MPC 4000 truly is a swiss army knife. I think I may make a you tube video explaining it better than I have seen.
Peace
Ian
