If it gives you any insight my live setup is as follows.
Positions: Left to Right
MPC | DJ MIXER | TURNTABLE | KP3
MPC (Mixer Channel Left)
Turntable (Mixer Channel Right)
Signal Chain
MPC + TURNTABLE > MIXER > KP3 >
Midi Chain
MPC (Source) > KP3 (Slave)
This works well for me, I can easily access the sampler and keep transitioning seamless with traditional DJ mixing. The KP3 adds post FX flavor to beats and breaks.
This might not be the best place to come for MPC advice though, a large majority of the people on this board have no idea what they're talking about, myself included.
