I had to intensively use my multitrack recorder recently and I'm still thinking that it would be useful to have a "route to nowhere" feature in the OUT tab in GPE. When we can't use the mute function or turn the level down to 0 I think it's a waste to sacrifice an individual out.
When tracking out a beat, it would be cool if you have an option like "X" besides of 1,2,3,4,L,R meaning the sample won't be in a output. Let's say you have 7 elements in your drums part, one for each output, the 7th will unfortunately be on Stereo out or another out. This case is when all in on one track and you can't mute easily.
