i'm brand new to mpcs and just got a 1000. when i connect the mpc to my laptop via usb the memory card comes up under drive F: and has one folder in it called Autoload, and in it are all the samples/programs etc the previous owner had put on it. i did something wrong with loading or saving and all the files got copied and pasted to the main "level" of the memory card (on the same level as the sole folder). this wouldn't be much of a problem but i tried to delete all those extra copies and a large section of them at the end (47 samples) will not delete from my card and all say they are 0 bytes in size. when i try to delete them it acts as if it's deleting them but the files still just stay there. i've tried doing them individually too and refreshing the window. is there a reason its not letting me delete these files? they seem to be a random chunk of dead data as its just a section of S-named to T-named wav files, no particular grouping is apparent to me besides that. any ideas?
btw when i try to load stuff now it says insufficient memory. i kind of just want to format this memory card and start fresh with my own samples. is there a way to do this correctly
