Well, for what it's worth, I personally don't feel it comes close to the Windows version. It may as well be called Sound Forge LE for Mac. If you get your hands on the demo and are remotely familiar with the Windows version, my reasons for saying this will become immediately obvious. It isn't bad per se but isn't nearly as robust as it's Windows lineage. For the price of admission when held up against the feature list, it wouldn't be my choice for a Mac editor.
I will mention this though, since it's a big one. One major wart — and believe me, I looked for it — is the complete omission of batch processing facilities. What dipshit at Sony decided that that was a good idea?
As always though, if you can find a way, try it out yourselves.
