I feel you, no doubt. I bought the MV-8000 a few years back with the hopes of being able to integrate it in this way but it wasn't ready/ designed to work in this way. The MV was/ is still a beast though.

So as soon as I open a session with that template, it automatically pulls up the MPC software as a plugin and I have aux tracks with inputs set to the MPC software already. This makes everything really easy and cuts out the tedious parts.
Yo MADBEATS, I'm bitin' your template idea
Although Logic has been my DAW of choice, I've always wanted to learn Pro Tools. I bought my Ren back in October and have been learning it but really wanted to integrate a "working" Ren with Pro Tools but after dropping $1,300 on the Ren, wifey woulda murda'd me for dropping another $700 for Pro Tools. Luckily, school sent me PT 10 and Logic 9 as part of the program and my PT class started 3 weeks before 1.3 dropped. Now I have a pretty good BASIC understanding of PT 10 and can now not only begin to integrate the stable Ren into my PT workflow but better understand what you guys are talking about when discussing PT/ Ren integration.
Thanks for the template idea btw
