A few easy things to try:
Reload OS (I forget how to do it off the top of my head. look it up)
Reseat RAM (Open up the little hatch in the back, pop out the RAM card, pushing out the little side clips. Make sure the contacts look clean, then pop it back in.
^^^ would be my first guess, RAM that isn't seated properly in the connector.
slightly more involved, cuz they involve resetting/wiping things:
Reset to factory settings (again, look it up, if you want to try it. I forget off the top of my head how it's done)
Reformat CF card (from SAVE window, the f4 button option, I think. warning: clears your cf card)
