Audio track(s)??? YES,of course.Got a beat going and just want to quickly layer a guitar or/and sax over the top and then mix it down.Quick sketch track.Cant be hard.

I wasn't laughing about what you said and I didn't understand why Akai implemented the mixer in this wayI 100% Agree with you, that's not how daws are designed !
comtox wrote:This will piss you off, but It's a 20 years Old design... Tracks mixer should be 100% sequences independent. No matter how it was designed on a MPC60 or even on a MPC5000... this design comes from another age.
Again, before thinking about audiotracks, AKAI should bring a real mixer with 10 post/pre Inserts, 10 post/pre sends, FX tracks, group tracks, busses, and at least with preset manager. And virtually an infinite numbers of outputs then the REN/studio could be ready for audiotracks.
Regarding your enthusiasm for the REN mixer... With all the respect you deserve, I start to think you really never mixed something in a DAW...JAH wrote:Akai has a plan for the Ren
They had plans at the beginning to with the plugin duplication![]()
Be honest, please. It's a freestyle development plan :-p

I can't image a specific situation where audio tracks can cause confusion. You can?
If audio tracks causes confuses someone....this individual(s) should probably not be using the Ren in the first place.
But let me fall back as this is a stupid debate and you can't stop what is inevitable.

You miss understood.Im saying thet akai could get confused trying to implement a simple extra stereo track(s)!!!!!(i dont know why) A daw it does not need to be,but an all in one recording and sample workstation is the minimum for a computer software at this price point.

dryad-66 wrote:Why??i dont knowBut they have a lot of work to do before it gets accepted even as a full sampler/sequencer it would seem.So....... if its so easy, yes,DO IT......
