Does anyone ever do this?
I've got a bunch of synth keygroups that merge really well and make it convenient to edit a single program from the Zone and Edit fields...
For example - Keygroup A + B (both 21 samples spread over 61 keys) merge perfectly, with Keygroup B dropping into Zone 2. That's the desired result.
However, if I merge Keygroup A + C (with C having different note spacing and span) the whole thing gets merged into Zone 1. The playback is the same but I lose the ability to modulate the different Zones separately.
I'm having a senior moment here, but is there an easy way to get keygroups to merge whilst also splitting the samples into different Zones? Having tinkered with this earlier, I've come to the conclusion that all Zones aren't created equally.
