is it true?? that would make it A LOT more desirable!

you misread it much like i did at first... you can't use them as free space... you can only replace the stock sounds with other sounds [but they must be the exact same length down to the millisecond and you need to invest in an EPROM burner and plenty of time just to do it]... so no... you can not get more actual sampling time than 5 seconds on the sp12 turbo.

you can also replace stock sounds in memory with sampled sounds. it still takes up valuable memory, but is saved upon power down for access upon reboot.

all it really means is that the preset bank is usable in assigning your own sounds to, not that you are actually "saving" or "making" any extra RAM...

then you have to reset to defaults to get back your preset sounds. and lose all other memory...

its been a while, but something like that. :-D

If someone created a bomb 808 kit as a replacement for the stock sounds they'd make a killing. I'd much rather switch it on and have an 808 rather than the tinny preset kit waiting for me.

i've seen an 808 kit on EPROMs done for the drumulator... but i don't think it's been done for the SP12 just yet...

It's a decent opening for someone who knows what they're doing. I wouldn't pay hundreds for it though. £50 and everyone is happy. :smoker:

What exactly are you looking for jimmie?

I've posted many auctions here in my time just as a heads up, if they are in the public domain posting the details here won't make much difference to the outcome. Remember an auction goes to the highest bidder so if you are outbid its just tough. Private sales always yield much better outcomes in my experience.

It shouldn't be advertised as brand new, but it definitely looks to be in mint condition.

Size matters...

Clint, where does this image originate from? is that a magazine ad or in a brochure?
