Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not in front of my Ren right now but yes you have to go to the preference menu and scan your third party plugins.

I can't seem to get any VSTs plugins to work at all.....I have tried to rescan the plugins in the preferences window as well and I can't get them to even show up.

Is there a certain place that the plugins need to be placed?

Someone please help!!!! :hmmm:

32 bit plugins will not show in 64 bit MPC software. Likewise, 64 bit plugins will not show up in the 32 bit MPC software.

Is this your problem?

x32 plugins should be operative in a x64 host isn't it ???

Should be? No, IMO. Upgrade your plugins. Most major plugins have 64 bit versions....

If you happen to have plugins that only have 32 bit version....then use that within the 32 bit MPC software.....

Cubase x64 handle x32 and x64 plugins as well, there's no problem to mix them together.

My Opinion. I'm running a x32 OS, I'm from the 90's, It doesn't concern me at the moment...

New 64 bit Pro Tools eliminated RTAS plugins (32 bit). And I think I recall reading the new Logic doing the same. Obviously these are all different products, from different companies whose feature sets will never be identical.

As far as installation...plugins are normally installed in a dedicated VST folder on your hard drive. This is a no brainer on OSX. It should be similar in Windows using default installation options. If for some reason your plugins are not available in the MPC software, go into Preferences and ensure your VST folders which contains your plugins is listed in one of the 4 slots.
